The Scavenger Log captures the desperate last words of a crew member as they succumb to the hostile environment of the moon. The audio crackles with static and fear, often mentioning sightings of strange creatures, failing equipment, and the overwhelming sense of isolation. These logs serve as both a warning and a grim reminder of the fate that awaits careless scavengers.

In Their Own Story

After signing with Noise Records, the band hired Ross Robinson, introduced by Korn, to produce their debut album, All Is Not Well. The lyrics tackled heavy subjects including rape, violence against women, abortion, and racism. Despite liking Robinson personally, the band felt dissatisfied with his production, believing that a producer who did not rush the process would have yielded a stronger album. As they searched for a new identity following the name dispute, Tairrie B selected 'Tura Satana' after the actress of the same name. She found the character Varla in the film Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! to be 'empowering'. This rebranding coincided with a stylistic shift from rap rock to a more 'internal and emotional' nu metal sound. They released Relief Through Release, which AllMusic later described as 'a solid testament to the capability of the nu-metal genre', before internal struggles and distribution issues led to their breakup in 1998.
